I love this beauty. My previous table saw was a bosch 4000 and the powermatic is clearly a major upgrade. I don't have much to add from the other reviews. This saw has been a dream to work with and I am so glad I got it. I have used it just about daily for three months now and have no issues with it, except I really enjoy working too much now. I mounted a big outfeed table, and a router table into the outfeed table, now it's got everything. Oh yeah... I noticed a few people who mentioned a few bolts

The first PM2000 shipped by Amazon arrived defective. Here are a list of the problems:
1. When raising the blade the whole trunnion would wander towards he fence by at least .020.
2. The trunnion would twist counter - clockwise on a horizontal plane causing the rear of the blade to wander away from the fence (and the front towards the fence) when raising the blade. Try keeping this one square to the miter slot. Not cool. This was also off by at least .020 front to rear.
3. The nylon shoulders on the fence were far from flat.
4. The fence measurement mark line was in the shape of a thin "V". The V was about 1/16" wide at the top.
5. The insert plate was missing the adjust screws.
6. When WMH sent out the replacement screws it was impossible to get the plate flat with the table.
How did this unit make it out of their factory?
WMH and Amazon were nice enough to send out a whole new saw, and pick up the bad one free of charge, so I can't complain much about their customer service. The new saw is good all around, no twisting etc., and the whole setup was much more accurate out of the box. Even the insert plate was flat to the top. However, it was shipped out without the hardware needed to mount the fence rails to the table top and extension table.
I'm going on a month without a fully functional saw thanks to unacceptable quality control on the part of WMH. I'd also like to mention that this is an incredible hassle. Shipping, unloading, assembling X2, disassembling, disposal of all the cardboard and the pallet X2, multiple calls to customer service. Not cool and incredibly time consuming.
WMH/Powermatic customers deserve better. WMH Tool Group needs to try harder.

I purchased my PM2000 in mid-September; it's a great saw and I've no issue with it at all. Powermatic is offering a $100 Gift Card promotion with the purchase of this saw. Amazon did not include anything about the gift card with the saw. I sent Amazon an email and they washed their hands of it saying "this offer is a transaction between you and the manufacturer, you will need to direct all future communication to Powermatic". Funny as I ordered my saw from Amazon.
I called Powermatic Customer Service a few weeks ago and they asked me to email a copy of Amazon's response to them. It's been three weeks now and I've heard nothing back from Powermatic or Amazon. I phoned Powermatic "Customer Service" again today and they took my name/number but did not call me back.

This saw is the single most expensive thing I ever purchased online, (and the heaviest, at a whopping total of around 400 lbs.!) So we were pretty antsy about when it would arrive, what kind of shape it would arrive in, difficulty level of assembly, etc. The bottom line for us on this product, is it exceeded every expectation. It arrived, three and a half business days after we placed our order online, Amazon services in this regard are simply amazing! :)
I already gave the packaging people a

I have had this saw for three years now,all in all it is a pretty nice saw but it does have some issues.I am very picky on my machine accuracy and i always have to fiddle with it to get it to be as accurate as i want. When I first got the saw it had a terrible vibration and couldn't figure out what the problem i called customer service and they sent a tech right out to my house of course he found the problem right away it was the one thing that i overlooked, the pulley on the arbor was never tightened down t

We sent our son a powermatic saw for Christmas. When it arrived and when assembled the table was way out of tolerance.
So he called Tool Crib and arrangements were made to return the old one and send a new one, which you very nicely did. That one was more out of tolerance than the first. So he called and both saws were picked up at the same time. I have an email which states that you will credit us for the saw. He (son) has made other arrangements for a saw. We do most of our tool business with y

Have ownewd and used this saw for 4 yrs . Assenbly takes some time , they all do. Quality better than most! Fence simple and accurate. I am a contractor so I have cut everything on this saw , from the wettest wolmanized wood to the finest of hardwoods, using the same rigid 50 tooth cobination blade , rated best blade under $50 couple yrs back and saw works great . I have not re adjusted this saw since assembly other than the trunnions which seem to have moved a bit a couple of times ( no kiddin I'm constan

This is a good, relatively inexpensive cast iron table saw. And that is all that it is. The AMZN review by Nancy Gleason is misleading. Left tilt saws are better, but they are ubiquitous. Read the reviews. They are quite accurate and touch on many important aspects.
It is curious that many reviewers make significant criticisms while indicating a very high rating. It is not unusual that this saw's top is not level, the splitter is difficult to adjust, the belt guard is infamous (and

Has this saw now for two years, finally getting around to bad- mouthing this pile. Two nice things about it; heavey duty- cast table, accufence is great. Motor I think is weak. The rest is junk. I cant tell you how many times I've has this saw upside-down parts everywhere trying to get my blade adjustments to work smoothly. Maybe the freight co. dropped it but the blade height adjustment fights me the entire way up and down. I finally took the spiral gear apart and filed the teeth down. That seemed to
